Dear Friends,
Carnival 2012 is over and for the majority of us the memories continue to put smiles on our faces. It is with the utmost pride and gratitude that we extend thanks to our masqueraders, who played a major part in helping us to deliver not only a great road experience but also delivered victory to us. Just Friends who was first awarded 2nd Place in the Band of the Year Medium category, was later declared the 1st Place Winner and received the winner’s trophy at the award function held on Tuesday 27th March. Thank you for all the phone calls, emails and feedback via word of mouth to let us know that you, the masqueraders, thoroughly enjoyed your experience on the road carnival Monday and Tuesday. You again heaped praise on the music, the food, the friendly people in the band and the road management which allowed us to cross the savannah stage early. You were great masqueraders and we send our love to our Just Friends family. It could not have happened without all of you.
Our portrayal for carnival 2013 is “Live on Broadway “
The band will again be a small band ( 300 to 500) friends, and will remain price friendly. Our web site will be updated as soon as designs are available.
The band launch is tentatively carded for Sunday July 15th, 2012.
